Agenda

YOUR “SPACE”
In association with Z Energy
What is your Innovation Space?
Why should you innovate?
What technologies will make the required impact?
Where do you start?

These are all questions we want to help you answer at our 2018 Techweek event, with three amazing speakers and a panel discussion.

At RUSH we believe in designing technology to better serve humankind, and to do this, we start with the people we are designing for. No one understands people more than our first speaker.

Kerry Spackman is a cognitive neuroscientist and winner of the 2010 World Class New Zealand award for creative thinking. He uses his knowledge of the human mind to help top athletes, business people and others succeed in their chosen fields.

Our second speaker, Emeline Paat-Dahlstrom, is a space entrepreneur. Originally from the Philippines, she’s spent nearly 30 years building space and technology educational ecosystems around the world, including International Space University and serving as the executive vice president for operations, and the chief impact officer for Singularity University. She will share exciting ideas about space disruption in New Zealand and future plans for the industry.

Our third speaker, Scott Bishop, is one of the country's leading innovation executives. Tasked with taking on the disruptive future for Z Energy, he will help us understand how one of NZ’s much loved brands has chosen to tackle innovation head on.

Finally, enjoy an open discussion with all of our speakers around the complexities of innovation and how organisations, individuals and visionaries all have to adapt to this ever-changing world. Hear how design thinking and strong leadership combine to create magic that changes our day-to-day lives, both locally and on a global scale.
